How to buy martial arts(pro-wrestling, MMA, boxing etc) tickets in Osaka?

Japanese martial arts events have a huge potential that has yet to be discovered. Here are some tips on how to find these event tickets in Japan!

1. Tickets are often available

Martial arts tickets in Japan are not sold out, usually. The only exception is New Japan Pro-Wrestling, which is quite popular and needs to book tickets early.
However, most of the ticket system does not support international fans. Tokyo Event Ticket will support your purchase if you need any assistance!

2. Discover events

So the hardest part about these martial arts events is not about buying tickets(again, except new japan pro-wrestling), but discovering one for you. We can name some of the famous ones here.
MMA Major Organizations
UFCThe UFC was founded in 1968 as a result of a tournament won by the Gracie family's Hoyce Gracie in a PPV event on American cable television, which led to the full-scale introduction of "baritudo" mixed martial arts, which had been practiced in Brazil under "anything goes" rules. The "wire mesh, ultimate rules" style of competition had a profound influence on the subsequent holding of mixed martial arts tournaments in many countries around the world.
The UFC, which began as a "no-rules" fight tournament, is now a well-established style, with commission rulings, matchmaking by weight class, etc., and has become a professional boxing organization. The UFC is now closer to "sports combat sports" such as professional boxing, with its commissioned judging, matchmaking by weight class, and so on.The UFC is undoubtedly the world's premier fighting organization at this point, and it is the stage that all mixed martial artists aspire to compete on.
PRIDEPRIDE was born in 1997 as an event pitting professional wrestler Nobuhiko Takada against jiu-jitsu master Hickson Gracie. Initially, the event was held under the name "PRIDE.1" as a one-time event, and became the talk of the town when tickets for expensive VIP seats were put on sale.
At the time of its launch, matches were held under various rules, but the rules were changed to those of mixed martial arts as fighters from around the world competed to become "the best in the world" and "the strongest mankind. PRIDE matches are often so heated that one cannot take one's eyes off the screen, and it can be said that PRIDE, along with UFC, was the catalyst for the rapid increase in the number of mixed martial arts fans around the world.

K-1K-1 started in 1993 as one of the largest martial arts events. The "K" in K-1 is an acronym for various types of standing martial arts, including kickboxing, kung fu, kenpo, and karate. As a striking standing martial art, front kicks, kicks to the opponent's inner thighs, flying kicks, and knee kicks are effective points in K-1.The rules are similar to those of boxing: a fighter wins if he knocks his opponent down and cannot get up for 10 seconds.Attacking with the head or elbows is considered a foul and will result in a warning or point deduction.
The fights are often bloody due to the fierce exchanges of blows, but these heated fights have captivated martial arts fans around the world. The terrestrial broadcasts of these events have also gained the support of many in the public, and have been a driving force in expanding martial arts to the general public. The announcement of the return of K-1 in 2014 has created a great deal of buzz.

It was an event that was supported by many people on terrestrial broadcasting and was the driving force behind the expansion of martial arts into the general public.

DREAMThis new event was launched by FEG, which had operated the mixed martial arts event HERO'S until 2007, with former staff members of Dream Stage Entertainment, which had operated the mixed martial arts event PRIDE.FEG and the former PRIDE had an adversarial relationship since 2003, but following the suspension of PRIDE in 2007, a new mixed martial arts event "Yarennoka! New Year's Eve! 2007" on New Year's Eve 2007, and this relationship developed into the birth of DREAM.
Shigeru Saeki, president of the mixed martial arts tournament DEEP, serves as DREAM's public relations manager, and the event is linked to DREAM as a gateway to success for DEEP.The event is also linked with the Dynamite! on New Year's Eve, where regular DREAM fighters participated in fights under DREAM rules.

The event was also held in conjunction with Dynamite! and DREAM's regular fighters participated and DREAM rules matches were held.

DEEPDEEP was launched on January 8, 2001, and was called the "toy box of martial arts" because of its high-profile matchmaking, including matches with pro-wrestlers and matches featuring referee Yoshinori Wada.
When Dream Stage Entertainment launched the PRIDE Bushido series in September 2003, it formed a business alliance with DEEP representative Saeki, and DEEP was positioned as a subordinate organization of PRIDE. Since then, DEEP has focused on Japanese middle- and lightweight fighters, and began holding tournaments at venues the size of Korakuen Hall.
Currently, its main events include "DEEP IMPACT", "DEEP CAGE IMPACT", and "clubDEEP".It was announced that the first New Year's Eve event "DEEP DREAM IMPACT 2014 - New Year's Eve special" will be held on December 31, 2014 at Saitama Super Arena.
ShutoShuto was founded in 1984 by Satoshi Sayama, the first Tiger Mask, with the goal of turning mixed martial arts into a competition. The martial art here was called "shooting" from the pro wrestling cloak of "shoot," after the initial name "new martial arts," but later the name "Shuto" was applied to the sport in order to avoid confusion with shooting competitions, etc. The name "Shuto" was later adopted to mean "to master the art of fighting.
Although Satoshi Sayama stepped down from all operations in 1996, Rumina Sato, Hayato "Mach" Sakurai, Kaoru Uno, and others were featured in fashion and subcultures from this time until around 2000, and gained popularity. The "International Shuto Commission" is established, dividing the rankings into World, Pacific Rim, Europe, and the Americas.
The professional licensing system and amateur system are well established, making it an ideal place to gain experience, and most of today's leading fighters come from the amateur Shuto circuit.

The professional license system and amateur system are well established, and most of the current front-line fighters are from this amateur sport.
PancrasePancrase is a Japanese mixed martial arts organization. In addition to professional tournaments, it also organizes amateur tournaments. It also operates a training gym. Its slogan is "Hybrid Wrestling. The company took its name from the name of a sport that is believed to be the predecessor of the ancient Greek martial art "Pancration. The godfather is Carl Gottsch.
As a member organization of the Japan Fighting Federation, it is under the umbrella of the Japan Wrestling Association. The organization held its inaugural match at Tokyo Bay NK Hall on September 21, 1993, with professional wrestlers Seikatsu Funaki and Minoru Suzuki in tow.The organization is a descendant of the new UWF, which was the parent organization of the Fujiwaragumi.
The group advocated a "complete meritocracy," and under the tutelage of Carl Gotch, they won many fans with their high-spaced fights that gave rise to the popular phrase "second kills. He also actively competes in an amateur mixed martial arts tournament called JML.
