FC Tokyo is a professional soccer club founded in 1935 and whose home town is Tokyo.
Since the home stadium is Ajinomoto Stadium (Tokyo Stadium) in Chofu City and the practice field is in Kodaira City, local activities are mainly performed around Chofu City including Mitaka City and Fuchu City, and in Kodaira City. In 1999, joined the J League as the first team based in Tokyo. At the same time, the name was changed from the former Tokyo Gas Football Club to FC Tokyo.
